World Cup Widows
As everyone is well aware, the World Cup is drawing ever closer. Us ladies literally have but hours left until our lives are taken over by football madness – we can all wave goodbye to any notion of getting anywhere near the television for the next month!
Even though most men go crazy over England (we have all seen the flags hanging out of car windows), it seems that they will watch any match, regardless as to whether we are playing. Serbia versus the Ivory Coast? An unmissable game, obviously.
It goes without saying that if you are into football then the World Cup is one of life’s greatest pleasures, however if you are less interested South Africa 2010 is nothing but rather annoying.
During the World Cup many women will become football widows, losing their once devoted boyfriends and husbands to beer, their mates and the Beautiful Game. So how do you go about getting your fella’s attention when he could be watching yet another gripping match?
