Paris Welcomes Elle!
During her days as world famous super model and regular on the cat walks, the stunningly beautiful Elle Macpherson always claimed to have a soft spot for modelling fabulous lingerie collections.
It came as little surprise then when just over twenty years ago Elle set about designing and launching her own lingerie collections as a sideline to her career as a model.
Elle Macpherson Intimates lingerie range was initially launched onto the British and Australian markets, where it enjoyed much success and continues to sell extremely well today. Not happy with conquering two countries with her underwear, however, Elle Macpherson recently decided to launch her lingerie onto the European market.
And what better place to embark on such a venture than the home of fashion itself, Paris?
On Tuesday 2nd February Elle Macpherson proudly opened her first Parisian Intimates lingerie boutique in the lingerie section of Printemps – a store located in the city’s busiest and most popular shopping district.
Despite being a business woman, television presenter, mother of two children and just four years away from her fiftieth birthday, Elle Macpherson looked fabulous at the opening and there was certainly little question as to why she originally became known globally as ‘the body’!
