London Set to Learn Victoria’s Secret
When it comes to big names in the world of lingerie they don’t really get much bigger than Victoria’s Secret.
However despite the fact that most lingerie lovers throughout the UK are familiar with this especially sexy brand of lingerie, we don’t actually have our own Victoria’s Secret store.
Happily, before long, that will cease to be the case as Limited Brands Inc. has announced that the US giant intends to open a new Victoria’s Secret flagship store here on our little island.
At present, the plan is that the store will be located on the corner of New Bond Street and Brook Street in London. The first British Victoria’s Secret store is set to cover a whopping 16,500 square feet, so there should be plenty of lovely lingerie from which to choose.
Those in the know have said that the store will be up and running by 2012 at the latest, so any of you who are keen to peruse Victoria’s Secret lingerie in person rather than online don’t have too long to wait.
The creation of a Victoria’s Secret store in London is just the latest in a series of international expansion moves from the American based brand.
