Larissa Riquelme to deliver on her promise

As we previously reported here on The Devil You Know, beautiful Paraguayan lingerie model Larissa Riquelme promised the world she would run around naked painted in the colours of the Paraguayan flag if her national team managed to win the world cup.

This promise from the lingerie model prompted more football fans than ever before to support the small South American country in the world cup, although it is fair to say that it was not necessarily the team’s footballing abilities that fans were supporting!

Far from being a just a publicity stunt, it seems that lingerie model Riquelme is genuinely an avid football supporter.

Throughout the World Cup in South Africa she has frequently been seen cheering on her side at matches, wearing little more than flimsy summer dresses in her country’s national colours – red, white and blue.

Riquelme’s promise certainly helped shoot her to fame, not just in her own country but across the globe. Since her promise to run naked, her name has become one of the top searches on the internet.

However, despite the growing number of fans rooting for Paraguay, they just could not quite beat the notoriously excellent Spain, who finally knocked them out of the cup on Saturday evening. Larissa has, however, committed at some point to deliver on her promise as a “thank you” to the team for their efforts.
