Lady Gaga in Trouble for Losing Priceless Undies
Rigby and Peller – the lingerie designers who famously hold the royal warrant to provide underwear for the Queen – have been angered to find that after lending Lady Gaga a number of painstakingly handcrafted pieces to wear in a music video, most of the items were ‘lost in transit’ upon their return.
According to the Daily Mail, the Queen’s favourite knicker-makers sent the rebellious Queen of Pop seven sets of underwear to parade around in during her next video, however only three of the seven sets were returned to them.
Rigby and Peller are said to be particularly miffed because this delayed return of the items means that they will not be available for an upcoming major showcase. Worse, because the items were hand made and all unique – allegedly making them priceless – they cannot be remade in time.
And as if that were not bad enough, the sets of lingerie with which Gaga was entrusted were apparently prototypes for the brand’s AW10 collection, meaning their disappearance could delay the entire production of next season’s collection.
Needless to say that after this performance, it is unlikely that anyone will be willing to lend Lady Gaga unique undies any time soon!
