Katy Perry in Lingerie for Rolling Stone
It seems that among many young female celebrities, when posing for a magazine that is likely to be read by mostly men, the obvious – if some what unimaginative – thing to do is pose in some saucy lingerie.
The general consensus seems to be that if an interview is accompanied by enough photos of you writhing in your undies it does not really matter what you are saying or how you are saying it, with the latest starlet to get on board being Katy Perry.
In the latest edition of the admittedly legendary Rolling Stone magazine, Perry is pictured on the front cover wearing a rather lovely set of simple yet sophisticated lingerie in a very vogue shade of blushing pink.
But regardless of who elegant and classy her lingerie choice may be – which is significantly classier than many of her stage ensembles, let’s face it – it is a safe bet that the pop star’s minister parents will not be too pleased with her outfit.
It is in fact her parents and religious upbringing that Katy discusses in the interview, which may come to a surprise for those of us familiar with her back catalogue.
