Avatar Star Models Lingerie For Calvin Klein

Despite her looks being heavily distorted by computer animation, it was as the rather blue Neytiri in the smash hit Avatar that Zoe Saldana first caught the public eye.

Apparently when you are as gorgeous as Saldana, people find it easy to look past stripy blue skin and the undeniably beautiful American actress is fast becoming one of Hollywood’s newest sex symbols.

Perhaps then it was only a matter of time before some fashion label or lingerie range asked her to model for them and it seems that Calvin Klein managed to beat off any other offers.

Saldana, 32, who has also just announced her engagement to long term boyfriend Keith Britton, has recently been announced as the new face of Calvin Klein’s latest underwear range, known as Envy.

Although she played a central character in Avatar and has starred in other popular films – including Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl and Star Trek– many believe that landing a modelling contract with such an iconic brand is what will truly cement her new found stardom.

There could even by some truth to this argument, as Saldana follows in the footsteps of Eva Mendes, Hillary Swank and Scarlett Johansson, all of whom have modelled for Calvin Klein.
