New Advertising Campaign From M&S

27 May 2010

Most ladies with a larger bust will remember when last year Marks & Spencer sneakily tried to squeeze a little extra cash out of their customers by making bras with larger cup sizes £2 more expensive than all the other bras.

Unsurprisingly many women were outraged by this, quite rightly pointing out that most women do not choose to have a large bust and thus should not be expected to pay more to support it.

The Sun newspaper even shamed Marks & Spencer with the famous “hands off our boobs” campaign, eventually resulting in a change of pricing policy at M&S.

To say sorry, the popular high street store also issued their own campaign of apologetic “we boobed” posters, which have now been followed up by new posters reiterating the fact that the prices of M&S bras do not change depending on their size.

It seems that the iconic British store is keen to make up for its previous bra pricing faux pas and the new “great fits” promotion is designed to remind us ladies of its continuous commitment to proving “beautifully fitting, quality bras” for all women, regardless as to shape or size.

So maybe now is a perfect time to forgive and forget – after all, Marks & Spencer sells exceptionally good lingerie.
