A Sweaty Eva Mendes Seen In SoHo
Calvin Klein has once again caused controversy, stopped the traffic and raised eyebrows in New Yorks SoHo district with it’s latest racy billboard. Calvin Klein latest billboard poster advertising underwear, features film actress Eva Mendes, all sweaty and lingerie-clad, tugging at the boxer shorts of her male companion.
Despite all the complaints and free publicity which they’re receiving, Calvin Klein’s controversial adverts are nothing new. In June 2009, an advertisement showing a threesome was pulled down after they received complaints from residents and a Christian advocacy group.
In 2008, a Calvin Klein and Eva Mendes teamed up to produce a TV ad for CK Secret Obsession which was banned after it was ruled obscene. Eva Mendes, in that Calvin Klein advert flashes a nipple for a split second.
The explicit nature of CKs adverts create quite a controversy, and as we all know, controversy can be very good for business.
The advert, no doubt, cost very little to produce in comparison to the amount of free publicity and press they’ve received from their recent ad, and Ck loving all the attention they’re currently receiving.
