The 2010 Undie Awards Winners
There are lots of different awards that celebrate the great and the good in every conceivable industry, the most obvious of which are – of course – the variety of awards handed out on a regular basis to Hollywood A-listers and film stars.
In the world of lingerie, the awards that matter are the Undie Awards, which were first introduced four years ago to celebrate all things underwear. They are also designed to introduce lingerie consumers to brands with which they may not previously have been familiar, broadening their underwear horizons.
Importantly, these awards provide crucial information to underwear makers regarding what consumers actually want from their underwear. Those who cast votes are encouraged to be guided by their body shape; when votes are cast voters are also asked to enter their age, height and body type.
This year, women and men cast well over 30,000 votes, which included separate votes for favourite underwear types, brands and styles. For women this includes bras, briefs and shapewear (every woman’s secret weapon!) and for men this includes boxers and briefs.
